Continuing the mini-drama format, Timothy Ellis aka Plucking the Spectrum presents Quest to Evermore. A new collection of instrumental compositions taken from 150 + hours of modular synthesiser recordings made in 2020. All performed live in the studio with no overdubbing. Accidents come good, disjointed rhythms are straightened and misplaced notes get placed as Ellis navigates and reinterprets the variety of emotions presented by our third lockdown.
As Roger Lomax put it, "Quest to Evermore is more than just one journey, it's a set of adventures in sound and art. This album makes my mood swing!".

Trained as a youth, untrained as an adult, here we have some of Timothy Ellis's abstract modular synthesiser works. The mini dramas are performed and recorded live in stereo with no overdubbing.
